Al Ain – “The garden city of the United Arab Emirates”, is an oasis surrounded by red sand dunes, palm gardens and markets.
The city lies at the foot of the Hajar Mountains and is one of the oldest settlements in the region. This is the archeological centre of the Arabian peninsular, with some finds dating as far back as 3,000 b.c.
You will visit an oasis with a functioning ancient irrigation system. This tour also offers a visit to the museum as well as the Buraimi Fort.
It is then time for a short lunch break after which you will see one of the largest camel markets in the Middle East, before we head back to the hotel. |
